Love these little things! A fellow an hour from me in Halifax, Nova Scotia picked one up online from Japan last year for like, $3000 CAD ALL-IN (shipping, everything). It’s not perfect, but it’s in surprisingly good shape...the sellers even gave him a new set of tires, which is great (the tires are actually staggered on the Beat - different sizes front to rear!)

Pretty jealous of that owner. Always wanted a Beat. I imagine they're a blast to drive. I'd only be worried about some asshat in an Explorer plowing into me while texting, and literally running me over.

I used to see a few of these but not any more. A damp climate and a car made from steel will unfortunately do that for you.
